How do you know whether you’re living a life worth living?

How do you know whether you’re living a life worth living?

The first thing is to ask yourself the question and invest some quality time and effort into finding out the answer.

Last week, 12 amazing leaders of Norfolk businesses did just that at the annual retreat of our MyBigSky peer group in the magical setting of West Lexham, a hidden Norfolk gem.

We approached the question by asking ourselves: What would we love to be able to say to our loved ones at our 80th birthday?  What would be our 80th birthday speech?

On the first day of our retreat, we wrote our speech, shared it with each other and openly discussed the implications, good and bad, easy and difficult.

For some, the writing flowed easily, for some, big life changes were wanted, for some, it was almost impossible to write.

On day 2 with the insightful Marcus Child, we worked on the first steps we could take right now to make our 80th birthday speech become a reality over the years that remain to us.
